and you gotta love Jack D. Ripper and his whole "bodily fluids" theory.
I watched the documentary on the dvd and Kubrick set out to make a serious film, which actually was made by someone else the same year called "Fail-Safe" with Henry Fonda and Walter Matthau.
But while writing the script he and his friend who was helping him they would have some drinks and by like 2AM they would start getting silly with the script. Then they started writing a seperate script which eventually became strangelove and he scrapped the idea of the serious version.
