Boston is the best fastball hitting team in baseball. Mussina and Lieber are not fastball pitchers. If Brown pitches like he should and not like he did last time in Boston, it will be 3-0.
If Millar sees a single fastball this series it will probably be from Vazquez. He and Nixon will flip flop in the order for game 3.
After the 8th inning of game 1 it was apparent Heredia will not be a factor at all in this series. Even if they get by Boston I still think this will be a big turning point at some point down the line. If they play St. Louis, Gordon will need to pitch to Jim Edmonds, who has pounded him. Houston has no left-handed threats, but ideally you'd like to turn Berkman and Beltran around.
Regardless of what happens this year, B.J. Ryan will be a Yankee next year, guaranteed.

Quote:Lofton is a sick bunter.I was thinking Sierra would be DH'ing.. there haven't been any in the series, but Jeter stole 2 bases in game 2, and they've only hit 2 homers on their 13 runs (one by Lofton, though he has had some terrible AB'S)
