Categorizing music - Is it really necessary?

Well shit no, Emo-Core is where it's at. No doubt.

Ever hear of a band called 'Thursday'? It's some of the best Emo out there, these days. Well besides Fugazi, of course.

Yea, Thursday is that band that sounds kinda like The Cure. I hear they put on a pretty good live show too.

And I liked Fugazi better when they were called Minor Threat and had an edge to them.
