Ken, for the love of God, will you please quantify your statements? What do you mean Congress has done nothing? Referring to what? The quantity, significance, or the quality of laws passed? Saying "nothing" certainly infers the the quantity or significantce of laws. I am guessing you are talking to the quality of the decisions. But that's not what you said. It would make your political threads much less tedious if you actually learned to convey your points effectively. And by "this" Congress, I assume you mean since Bush has been in office, and not, literally "this" congress as in the last two years.
For doing "nothing", they sure passed a bunch of laws, including declaring War, passing a $1.3T tax cut, signing the Terri Schiavo law in an emergency session, Patriot Act, No Child Left Behind, blah blah
If you read what I wrote, I said I want gridlock, I don't want laws passed. This Congress has passed many more than when Clinton was in office. The republicans were so streamlined and in control the Bush only just recently vetoed his first bill in 6 years. That's not a good thing: All republicans or all Democrats.
That you hate so many of the laws they passed, doesn't mean they didn't do anything, but that you disagree with what they've done.
