Hanging out with a couple of friends and these two chicks stop by from visting their friend up the street. We also decide to head to 7/11 for beer and butts.

One friend is driving and the other called shotgun, so I piled into the backseat between the two girls. As we're driving, my friends were having a little discussion on who was going to hook up with whom.

So the two girls decided they didn't want anything to do we them and started making out with me, back and forth. Pulled up to the house and I'm getting out of the car with my shirt and pants open. His younger sister who had a crush on me witnessed this and storms off to her room.

Then the girls press me on choosing one of them, so I got one phone number out of the deal and a bunch of people pissed at me.

A couple of months later, I'm over there partying and ended up making out with his sister. Now this is the part that gets fuzzy with my memory, because I remember kissing her, but get shot down going to second. I was feeling for third and was waved off at the plate. Apparently, in my drunken state thought it would be a good idea to try and remove her pants wanting to eat at the old Y.

That's about all I can remember, she tell's her mom, sister and her brother that I tried to rape her.

Last time I checked you actually have to insert your penis into an orifice by force to "rape" someone. I have no clue as to how I got home, and why I never apologized for my awful actions. Use to run into her mom and sister a couple of times over the years and was always clueless as to why they were so cold.

Now a question, was it attempted rape or just a misunderstanding of sexual intent?

When there is no sexual penetration, there is no rape; but there may be attempted rape or an assault with an intent to rape. Unlike rape, attempt or assault with intent are what the law calls "specific intent" crimes. This means that in order to find an accused guilty, the prosecutor must show the accused intended to have intercourse by force or threat of injury and against the will of the victim. Even if the accused unreasonably believes the victim is consenting, the accused does not have the intent necessary for the crime.
