The difference is you pretty much knew where that scene was headed. This starts off innocently enough, until the unexpected and hysterical shooting of an old lady. Each shooting in this scene is hysterically unique in their own ways.
-Shooting an old lady out of absolutely nowhere
-Getting into a shootout with cops (done before, but unique only because of its context in this movie)
-The look of complete confusion and disorientation prior to shooting the hotel worker
-Doing a 360 through the rotating door to shoot the janitor
It's just such an abrupt rampage; totally random and unexpected the first time I saw it.
