Our president tonite gave a speech without being overwhelmingly self-conscious or self-important (that's a relief) about it; a president of the USA that I am very proud of...for all the right reasons. This was not a speech by a man who is a politician or trying to gain any approval rating points. This was a man who like few before him gave a speech as our leader and as an american.
To say that he was cliche or using words and phrases to be remembered in history than every man before him is also a cliche. When FDR said that there will be no negotiations with japan, there will be no exception but unconditional surrender was that a cliche? When President Lincoln in his gettysburg was he also cliched? No these were men who stood up to a historic event, not to be historic which undoubtebly Bush will now be. Teddy Roosevelt charging up san juan hill though not a changing point in any historical relavence, but it stood out cause he was a president who let it be known; i am the man for the job to lead you.
The presidents speech is a call to arms, as much as it is a call to justice, as much as it is a call to all good principles Americans value; a speech given by a president that is unassuming, grateful, steady, embracing, focused, inclusive, hopeful, and inspiring.
Today i am honored to say thank you Mr. President, for being the man for the job

What true leadership the President has bestowed upon our country. He has proven true courage and strength to our country and to the rest of the world. I believe George W. Bush has...is...and will continue to make his mark in history.
Thanks to the GOP, the CIA spent billions, and BILLIONS of our dollars, and NINE YEARS! Sniffing President Clinton's zipper, instead investigating the terrorists. While the GOP were trailing Clinton's zipper, the terrorists were moving in and making plans.
President Bush is a man with a mission now, a man who will not be deterred and who will do his best to bring all Americans into the struggle. The goals are high, but the push is on. And the man in the White House is leading the way.
Today I more proud than any other day to be an american and to have a president like George W Bush.
