-9/26, 5th inning: Why did Feliciano pitch to Wily Mo Pena? All this guy does is his hit LHP. Sometimes matchups are overdone and overanalyzed, but sometimes they do have a place. Sometimes, this being one of them, they do make sense.

that was also the play beltran played horribly wrong and rollins got a triple. but still, feliciano should have never started that inning, and rollins should have never batted that inning.
they were terrible at working the count. and it wasn't even that they didn't work the count, they just guessed, while they had no clue what was coming. constantly swinging at first pitch off spread crap.
and the mets have never done good against crappy minor leaguers getting one of their first 10 career starts. this has been going on for years.
