Goat, maybe you had an earlier beta than the one that I got, but the one that I got tried three times to access the Net on some AODOL(or some shit) executable and even when denied, still put mad shortcuts on my system.
I'm not saying that the software is shit, I'm only saying that we shouldn't have to jump through hoops to avoid having bullshit installed on our computers when all we want is a decent media player. Pre-AOL winamp always avoided that. Post-AOL winamp appears to be going against that standard.
So yeah, it may be a good program, but fuck AOL and their bullshit links to their bullshit software.
If I have broadband, why in the fuck do I need AOL? If you think you need AOL, then you deserve the bullshit they add into all of the software that they now own and distribute.
