Yeah, but you just rinse it off silly. The cold water makes for a much smoother shave. Give it a try.

Actually, I find that using hot water to open up the pores before hand, then cold water during the actual shaving process (keeping the blade cool) provides the closest shave. But then again.... what do I know :p
