At that time, I heard they had a messageboard and joined it. It was rough at first since I'd never been a member of any messageboard in my 25 years, and I didn't really now the basic rules of board, posting or html for that matter.
I immediately found many enemies due to a few ill-timed posts, and a few inane threads and such.
However, in the many months past, I've quit my job, live off my savings until Grad school starts, and really just been a bump on a log for lo these many months. Though I have started to get the feel of things at OA.com, still, in general I've just wasted time for that last six months and haven't really benefitted at all from the time spent there or anywhere else since October. Aside from "The Carol Thread" I didn't even laugh much, and definately didn't get much wisdom dropped on me.
A few days ago, someone invited me to this board which, as my name implies, is much like Galt's Gulch in Atlas Shrugged filled with the best posters since vanished from the previous board.
My point? The last six months wasted of my life were all worth it just so I could read this thread.
You, Mr. Sephiroth are the Vessel of the Absolute Truth
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.
