bringing this back up!!
ok, in 1948, the arab world felt threatened by the israelis moving into the west bank and jerusalem, and therefore war began. that is not normal, you can't try to confine people, and keep them to one area, before they even have a state. now i know that many of you right now are asking what is the difference between the israelis in '48 and the palestinians today. good question. the palestinains that were there in 1948, were not in the west bank, they were in tel aviv, jaffa, hiafa, netanya, pre67 israel. after the war, jordan took the west bank, syria kept the golan, and egypt took gaza. in 1967, the situation was eerily similar to today's situation, and israel after 6 days of fighting, took the west bank, where the jordainians fled from, gaza, where the israeli army made it into ciaro, whcih we left as soon as the war was over, ans the golan hights and gallilee, making it almost into damaskas.
if the jordanians want the west bank back, by all means, they have a right, arafat and his henchmen have no ties to that land. he equally would like to take over jordan, or trans jordan from 1948. the palestinians in the west bank and gaza today, were jordanina refugees from 1972, when jordan threw them out, and lebennon from 1982. who are these regugees, islamic jiahad, hamas, force 17, tanzim, and black september - all these groups have been on the US terror list since the 1980's.
WAKE UP, this isn't a problem about "occupation" this war is to distroy an entire nation, just like all the other wars in the past.
