I finally realized just how horribly my chosen profession is going to ruin my life....all I kept on thinking about while reading these posts was how much time you people would do in jail if you got caught selling this shit, and then I began to wonder if I tried it how many days I would have to worry about my pee tests....
Oh no we took it back to far Only love can save us now.....

Life's too short to worry about the semantics of legality. I like to expand my consciousness sometimes, think of things I wouldn't normally think of, look at things in new ways...People who do drugs are not bad people, just like the guy who grabs a beer at the bar after work isn't a bad person. I dunno, everyone needs a crutch I guess...religion, booze, pot, shopping, etc. Do whatever makes you happy.
BTW, I ordered salvia last week for 4/20...interesting experience, CLS is right about the whole gravity pulling you down thing. I'm not sure if I liked it, it was different than anything else, those first couple of minutes are way too intense. Unfortunately, no visuals but I was worried about taking too much. I can't believe that shit is legal. I've give you a link if you PM me.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

I agree....it's just all the classes that I take drill the rules into my head. I can't even watch a movie anymore without thinking about the fact that they're doing the investigations wrong etc. It's funny because lawyers can do all the coke they want, but god forbid I were to go out and have a fun weekend, I could lose my job. Oh no we took it back to far Only love can save us now.....

Lawyers that do coke steal money from their clients and should die terrible deaths...Ooops...sorry...thinking out loud...

Doctors and lawyers can be the worst drug abusers.

Cops break the law too Right now, my job is I'm a student, and getting an internship with the federal government. I know cops do drugs and break the law, but the job that I want when I graduate is a federal job in law enforcement and there are much stricter rules. You can get a job with the NYPD if you have a violation for marijuana use, etc. but I wouldn't even be hired in the field I want. Lawyers who break the law may be disbarred, but they only get disbarred when they get caught in the act... Oh no we took it back to far Only love can save us now.....

Quote:Lawyers who break the law may be disbarred, but they only get disbarred when they get caught in the act...Aren't they reported to the Office of Professional Conduct first? The last I heard, they were given a chance to clean up themselves......get rehabilitated...because most drug addictions, such as overuse of cocaine or any other substance, turns into an addiction. Addictions of this nature are a dis-ease, just like alcoholism. (I am not saying that everyone who drinks is an alcoholic or everyone who snorts coke once in a while has a big problem.)

I don't know anything about a lawyer being disbarred, but I know there is a huge movement within the criminal justice system to see drug abuse as a disease and less of a crime. The movement is to seek out rehabilitation for addicts and punishment only for dealers and trafficers...needless to say, there's been a lot of opposition.

But when they do the drugs, and steal from thier clients...
The drug use doesn't matter... My fuckin real estate attorney stole 10,000 dollars from me, and who knows how much from others... He's been disbarred but criminal procedings don't look like they're gonna happen.

Anyone see the HBO Life Undercover last night about X? It was funny shit. This mid-40s guy trying to recapture his youth by going to raves and hanging out with high school kids.
He was doing ecstasy with his children and even allowed his 13 year old son to do the drug. He's watching his other kids snort it, smoke weed, letting his 16 year old daughter fool around in front of him, and his oldest kid to LSD. It's quite funny to watch people ruin their life.

That guy on HBO took trying to relate to his kids way too far.
