Fail-Safe was actually a good movie as well but it came out almost back to back with Strangelove. It was the same exact premise except Fail-Safe was a completely serious take on the subject and while well done it doesn't compare to Strangelove.

i never saw the movie but i had to do a 10 page book report on it for 10th grade history. needless to say, i did not enjoy it.
