I thought you were going to compile dancing bananas. Like you would add one for every win.
Five wins =

It's going to to so cool in September, when there's like 70 bananas on one post. This thread is going to be CRAZY!

My favorite Philly is Curt Schilling.

I'm with galt, I was also under the impression there would be a bunch of banana's in a row like 10 wins = 10 bananas.

Rheal Cormier cost me a win today. Stupid friench

I got a win for wagner but a loss from biddle. My closers like to fuck me good. Wagner's the only one that loves me.
04-18-2004, 09:59 PM
closers are overrated.
I'm an 12 team league with 23 active spots on the roster including 5 OF spots. Mine is: Manny, Berkman, Shawn Green, Burrell, Matos, and Drew on the bench. I simply can't lose.

i agree, my league has retarded pitching scoring. bad pitchers dont get penalized,
wins are worth 10, losses you lose only 3.5, hits and walks only lose -.1, earned runs only -.5, each inning gets you a point, K's are worth 1.1 eaton pitched 6 innings for me today, gave up 3 runs, 5 hits, 3 walks, and struck out 5, he still earned me 9.2 pts therefore i drafted an offensively top heavy team (beltran, giles, ichiro, green, glaus, c.johnson) and im creaming the competition. my mediocre pitchers are actually pitching somewhat decent (dontrelle, hudson, miller, eaton, graves, cordero)

points leagues are lame.
5x5 is the only acceptable fantasy baseball rules. PS. I won my matchup 7-1-2 this week.

those settings are retarded.
How can you have uneven pitching/hitting categories? Shutouts and complete games? Waste a couple high picks in the draft on starting pitchers that throw complete games, and then spend every other pick on offense. I would have destroyed that league.

I'm going to the new stadium tomorrow. From what I've heard (from some very biased yet well traveled people) it is the best baseball stadium in the country. We'll see. But I'll need someone to take banana duty tomorrow. kthx

The stadium is beautiful and it's tasteful. It doesn't have that amusement park tackiness like other newer stadiums have (no swimming pools in the outfield). The beer venders are always on the beat. They sell peppers and sausage sanwiches. It's paradise. Once they learn to win then we'll be all set.
