Ike Turner, the legendary musician and former husband of Tina Turner, has died at 76, TMZ.com reports.
Turner died in his home outside San Diego, according to the report. No other details were immediately available.
Born and raised in Clarksdale, Miss., Turner was inspired by the old blues artists and embarked on a musical career of his own beginning in the late 1940s. He later met Anna Mae Bullock, aka Tina Turner, and they developed a hugely successful act together. She would also become his wife.
The couple's often tempestuous relationship was detailed in Tina Turner's biography, which was the basis for the movie What's Love Got to Do with It? The pair split in the 1970s.
Alongside his former wife, Turner was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
I have a suggestion for you and then I'll drop it.
So next time the boat hits the home port, tell him to take you out for a drive, direct him to dark secluded cemetary, and then fuck like zombies. Given the chance of you having these "unique" preferences, I just thought I'd put that out there for you in case you didn't think of it already nor have scratches and scrapes on your ass from the tombstone you were on last night...if that might be the case.
Since the Jays has picked up the slack here I have lost track of things. It appears that lush wins with the 100-minus points things and Faceman (though a ghost himself) won with the number of correct picks thing?
Is that the deal or does lush have a couple of other correct picks other than Anna Nicole?
