I just got HBO this weekend. I caught last weeks episode on repeat and this weeks episode. I like it. I have somewhat of an understanding of what is going on right now. I have somewhat of an idea of who everyone is on the show. Could someone give me a quick summary of things that I need to know going into the last 3 episodes.

This weekend's episode was the best ever, IMO...The intervention was definitely the best scene!
jeez, I hope Paulie Walnuts doesn't get hit, he's my absolute favorite. Everything he said this episode was hilarious. "We agreed, non-judgemental." "Fuck that. Let him take his medicine."

I don't know about best ever, but best in a long time. The last 3 episodes should be really interesting...

I have only seen the last 3 episodes and maybe I don't understand to much, but last night's episode sucked. I had to fight myself off from falling asleep. It actualy could have been almost as bad as watching yesterday's Giants game.

It was definitely a strange episode, and I'll probably be in the minority in liking it. Not as good as last week, and not nearly as good as the pine barrens episode (maybe the best after the 1st episode), but I'd give it a 7 out of 10.
again, there was a lot of setup for the last 2 episodes which look like they'll rock (yeah, I know the previews lie...) You see that Janice is still a conniving bitch, and nothing is below her; you see the writing on the wall for a big war with NY and Paulie on the outs, which of course means that Paulie won't get knocked off; you see Tony knowing the ramifications for what he does, but rather than give up the bad work he will ignore the conscience. those dreams were somewhat artsy, but that is what separates this from other shows - it can be artistic, and it can be brutal. for an interesting look at yesterday's episode by some actual psychiatrists, go here: The Sopranos: Season 4 Analyzed; Week 11 I can tell you this - I know where I'll be for the next 2 Sundays

1. Don't be surprised that there is no war, and NY offers up Paulie as their snitch to make things right by this year's end.
2. I don't think Ralphie did it on purpose either. I remember him replacing the bulbs in an episode, and him perhaps using cheapie bulbs caused it by accident. It was clear in Tony and Ralphie's scene that Ralphie didn't plan it, and was surprised, but b/c of him not giving a shit, he thought only about the money end of it...which infuriated Tony (remember Tony's reaction to the geese flying away). 3. Speaking of the geese (or was it ducks?) flying away from his pool...where psychologically, it had something about them making off with his penis...think about this...Tony's closeness with the horse, him stealing Ralphie's girlfriend, the horse dying, Tony taking it out on Ralphie by killing him and the severed head.
There are four kinds of people in this world: cretins, fools, morons, and lunatics.

okay, not that bad of an episode. I honestly thought for a split second that Furio was gonna push tony into the blade of the chopper. Other than that the highlights of the episodes had to be Paulie killing the old lady, the big unit drawn on the painting and AJ farting on Meadow.

I don't get you people. This episode was great. It was full of anger. Shit could have hit the fan at any second. I was almost sure that Carmela and Furio were going to kiss and that Tony would be dead.

I didn't catch it - I haven't seen most of this season's episodes, to be honest. I'm sure they'll re-run the Hell out of them over the winter.
