If they didn't go after Microsoft it would just be worse in the long run. It had to happen...you have companies with market caps in the hundereds of billions that are shoulding triple-digit million losses each year. Add several interest rate increases so close to each other that the first didn't have time to settle before the next hit and you've got what we have now - a drawn out crash. | Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | The nasdaq superslump is the result of greenspan aggressively raising rates in the fall & summer. There is always a 6 to 9 month lag after interest rate changes. Thats why the cuts made recently have had no lasting effect. A few months & everything will be fine. For now, buy a few bargains. Not techs that tanked, but good companies with solid business models that will return | ||||
