FeelMyFunBags, I think what Magus is saying is not in those cases where the girls are afraid to say something, but the cases where the GUY is afraid to say something out of fear of screwing up the friendship, rejection, or whatever. And the girl doesn't feel that way. I think it's worse when the girl doesn't look at you and flat out say she'll never ceven consider it. That is harsh pain, but it fades quickly. It's worse when the girl just doesn't return the sentiment, and you feel so dejected, but it doesn't go away. It stings over and over, and you start to think stupid things. Things like, "Did I not do it at the right time?", or "Did I not play it cool enough?", or "Maybe somehwere down the road I can try it again?", or the worst, "What is it about me I should change to MAKE it work?" FeelMyFunBags, if you've ever had this happen, which no offense I don't think you have, it's a pretty bad hurt. i am not saying this to prove you wrong, or even try to "get in" with Magus. You can just tell these things sometimes.. you have to be in the right situation, namely her tongue down your throat is a good sign. Otherwise you've got to play the game, my man. It's all about the game, no matter how arbitrary it may seem. And if you get out of your game and make a wrong move, then everything else has potential to become awkward as well. Sometimes trying to articulate how you feel to somebody who you're not sure about is awkward, and you're right, can produce undesirable results. Especially if it's in the wrong situation!! Feel it out a little bit more, maybe you two have just not been in the best situation to figure out if she's going to reciporicate. Hang out alone... check her body language. If you just aint feelin' it back, then maybe it's time to 'check yo'self before you wreck yo'self' as they say. Good luck, my man... and remember, if it doesn't work out, she aint the only girl in the world.
