However, what you are misunderstanding here - and from everything that I have already read and gathered, this all seems to stem from admins who just don't quite understand how to handle the powers that they have been given. It takes a lot to be an admin, moderator, or whatever they choose to call themselves. Now I really can't pass judgement as I haven't read further, but if these mods are going in and wiping out messages and comments to make themselves seem flawless, well... basically they're just setting up to do one of two things: 1) Turn the boards into a bunch of ass-kissing mindless atomoatons that are basically going to repeat the opinions and comments of the moderators without any original thought OR 2) destroy the board. Now... if you ask me, really, there is no difference between #1 and #2, excepting that #1 becomes a message board that is based around moderator worship, not its original intent (O&A) - which would be even worse than #2. I'm too tired, too drunk and really not in the mood to get into this. Ironically, I can speak on behalf of CO'G as he's one of the few real original O&A pricks you will find around here. I mean TRUE original. Maybe you just don't appreciate it because you weren't here when Mayor Menino died and O&A got punted for it... but trust me... there's not many better people to have around on this board than CO'G... give a long, good look into it. --Micah | ||||
