O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | No matter how much you love your teams, there's always the one guy that you still hate regardless of the fact that he plays for you. If you could cut any one player off your favorite teams, who would it be? For me... Mets - Rey Ordonez - he's fucking useless. he probably batted .180 when he was playing T-Ball. Cowboys - Quincy Carter - nobody can follow in Aikman's shoes, especially when you throw more passes to the opposing secondary than to your wide receivers. I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray... That someday it may raise me... above these badlands Over The Limit

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Well Steve Phillips did a great job of getting rid of my guys this year. I would have said Todd Zeile and Robin Ventura. I am shocked and thrilled that Phillips managed to get rid of both of them. I personally like Ordonez. Sure he isnt the greatest hitter in the world, but he does get some big hits from time to time, and last year he actually hit better than some of the guys in the middle of the lineup. And he is the best defensive shortstop in the game, and its going to be sick to watch him and Alomar playing together. As far as my teams. Rangers- Igor Ulanov. A giveaway in the defensive zone waiting to happen. Jets- Marcus Colemean. Hoepefully the Texans will take him in the expansion draft. Also Damian Robinson. Knicks- Just about everybody but Ill go with kurt Thomas. Technical Foul waiting to happen. At least with Rasheed Wallace, hes an awesome player getting Technicals all the time. Ever since he replaced Larry Johnson, Kurt Thomas has sucked.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | quote: Yeah Im sure you must have hated having him on your team. I mean he was only the best player you had. Rewind back a couple of years ago and I bet you had an Eric Lindros jersey and you were like Lindros rules. Now that hes on the Rangers, all the flyer fans are like I never liked him anyway. Yeah Uh huh. That would be the equivalent of me saying that I loved Eric Lindros when he was on the Flyers.

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | quote: Froy, I'd love to see your opinion on him 3 years from now. The guy plays well, and rookies will make mistakes like that quite often (ie Brett Favre's first few years in Green Bay). It's hard when you're expecting a Troy Aikman-like QB, but this kid's got the goods and if he succeeds could single handedly take an entire year off the amount of time it takes to rebuild the team. As for me, I'd cut Charlie Ward. Guy contributes nothing but distractions with his holier than thou attitude. Ship the bitch out.

Harry Sinden, Martin Lapointe [28 yrs old; 30 points] beucase they conscioulsy signed him for $5 million instead of giving $7 million to Jason Allison [26 yrs old; 35 points after missing a month while holding out) - absolutely unforgiveable Red Sox. Dan Duquette, Jose Offerman, The new owners (what fucking scam that bid process was. Just done to let Henry sell the Marlins to Lauria so MLB could fold the Expos) Celtics. O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Well, most of my guys have already been named, but what the hell..... NY mets - Rey Ordonez. When he first came up, I defended his lack of hitting, remembering shortstops like Bud Harrelson, Larry Bowa, Mark Belanger, etc. However, all of the aforementioned did what they could on offense. They would be good bunters. They would steal a base, They would hit behind runners. Ordonez, on the other hand, keeps swinging at 3-1 fastballs at his chin. There is no excuse for him not learning the strike zone. Knicks - does Scott Layden count? he brought most of the stiffs of the stiffs. If I had to choose a player, I'd have to pick Charlie ward, after his stupid comments. Rangers - Ulanov. Serves no useful purpose except to block progress of youngsters. If he went back in time, I'd say Mel Rojas with Mets. Damn, I don't think he EVER got anyone out.

Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | Lindros was never the best player on the Flyers. LeClair was always better. At least I always thought so anyway. (although Lindros was hyped up like the second coming of Gretzky when Flyers got him, so he really could'nt please most people no matter what he did, and to be honest that's not really his fault) Back to subject...... The Bengals, I would cut the damn owner, although that will never happen and I will always be their only fan outside of Ohio, The Phillies, I would cut Glanville

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Eagles- Na Brown, do you really need an explanation as to why? Mets- i agree with Froy on this one, i cant remember the last time Ordonez did anything useful Nets- actually no one, although if they could go back in time i wouldve kept Griffin instead of sending him to Houston Rangers- haven't been paying attention to hockey the past couple seasons, although it seems that Lindros is a fuckin waste this year...
