And snoteater, to go along w/ your point, I would always root for my team up until the final game of the season even if they were out of it by Thanksgiving... Hell, I've been doing that most of my life, I'm an Isles fan. Plus, I would never root for the Rangers, and the only times I root for the Flyers are when they are playing the Rangers or possibly the Devils. You gotta stick with your team. Come playoff time that may be a different story, but I usually pick someone in the other conference, recently the Kings (gotta follow Ziggy, ya know?). Besides, Milbury spread the Isles talents throughout the league so well a few years back that there's almost always an ex-Isle playing in the playoffs. Flyers still suck though.
