The people who were responsible for the first WTC bombing are, indeed, alive, but in jail serving three life sentences. Killing these people makes them martyrs which trust me, you don't want to happen. It only spurs on more wackos from the middle east. No one ever promised to "get" Hussein or take him out of power. Because if we wanted that, we were literally 24 hours from taking over the country. But that wasn't the initial goal of Desert Shield or Desert Storm. The UN Charter was to get them out of Kuwait which we did. Bush WANTED Hussein out of power and tried to get the Kurds to overtake Hussein. It was not the US's role to decide who should be in power in a country. If he had Hussein killed or taken him out power, there would have been major, major reprocussions that would have hurt us throughout the world from a foreign policy perspective. This administration is more capable of defense than any in recent memory. Bush was chided when he was putting it together, yet now it's all ex-military and defense guys. Trust me, they know what the hell they're doing. Don't worry about your faith in Bush becuase he's no the one who's developing the strategy. Have faith in Cheney and Powell who were respective badasses when they were in charge of the situations of their time. | ||||

We're talking about a military machine of hundreds of thousands of people and billions of dollars worth of equipment. It's not like we can turn on a dime and just re-deploy everything and callup 50,000 reserves and have them in Kabul in 12 hours. Like everything in the world, it's better to do it right, than do it fast. When we strike, it will be massive and swift moving. It will be hellfire and brimstone. This is better than a couple F-15s dropping a bomb or two 12 hours after the WTC bombings. This is better than depolying thousands of ground troops to get slaughtered like happened when Great Britain and Russia invated Afganistan. They know what he hell they're doing. The difference between our "retarded"ness is that I don't presume to know something I don't, asscunt. I understand what comedy is, I don't need you to tell who or what is funny. I took the time to sign up for a message board about a comedic radio show it's not like I signed up for a Dungeons and Dragons website. It is OK to make a comment if you don't like someone on the show. As much of a tooling as I'm going to get, it still won't stop me from doing so. I'm not going to bring up the debate Norton again (however, just because someone lables themselves a "comedian" doesn't preclude them from being a dickhead or an idiot), I just thought it was funny how you kept your mouth shut unil after 50 people had already tooled me. I guess you thought it was safe? Unlike you, I didn't wait for 2 weeks to find out how the rest of the board felt before chiming in with my two cents. But again, I don't know you, so I won't make comments like you're a weakwilled pussy with no backbone or original thought. So in closing, FU to you.
