| Psychopath Registered: Aug. 00 | I wasn't trying to be an asshole.....all I was saying was that if there were pop-ups, there should be a way to close them....I admit, yes I HAVE clicked on numerous pop-up ads, and most of the sites I signed on with, I don't even visit anymore....I had my fun, and it got boring. Banners are definitely more gooder than pop-ups, and true, some don't do anything, but everyone that frequents this site has a common interest. There are banners for every single need imaginable. If I had my choice, I'd take banners anyday.....especially if they offered something I could use for my web site. I know everyone probably thinks I'm just being an asshole, and I apologize, but it gets frustrating trying to read a post and having an ad for an online casino show up and cover the post I'm reading.....If you want pop-ups, at least find a way to keep them more towards the top of the screen....I really have no serious problem with them, understand that. I just can't stand trying to read something when there's a big F-ing ad blocking all the words. This is legal, isn't it? Ponderous, man; F'ing Ponderous! Get in the Coffin! Yes, most message boards could in theory be run off a home PC with a cable modem. This is not like most message boards. We've seen transfer rates in the hundreds of gigs per month. That costs money. Add to that the cost of hosting our Cold Fusion coded pages and SQL Server 2000 dbase. That costs money too. Can I be honest for a second? I hate people like you. No, I despise you. I put you up there with the people who complain that the drop down menu should be on the right side instead of the left side. Or that the button should be round instead of wide. Or you don't like the color scheme. Don't you understand? You are being provided a service free of charge. How many times do you hear that in this day and age? FREE is a buzz word often used but seldom honored. We give you a forum to post ideas, and ask for nothing in return but your patronage and the occasional banner click. Deal with it you unappreciative prick...or would you rather be a member of that other pussy message board? I develop hard to navigate websites.  | ||||

But deal with them, we need popups to keep this site running banners don't make money so thats out the question. So unless you have alot of $$$ to put in this site (I sure as hell don't) deal with the popups. | ||||

And just so we all have a clear picture of who Rotty is: Rotty is the teenager who registered opieanthony.org and stored entire DAYS worth of O&A shows online. That's called copyright infringement you little asshole, and it's extremely fucking illegal.
