| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Wow, I wish I had seen this thread sooner... Something to ponder: Think of the benefits of outlawing religion, worldwide. Religion is not necessarily bad, yet it's not necessarily good. Sure, they say it gives people hope, something to look forward to, blah blah. It also gives people someone to blame when they fuck up. They just say God wanted it. Fuck that. You're in control of life. Have some fucking common sense. Putting a fucking silver fish-looking thing on your car ain't getting you into heaven. I don't care that you believe in your bullshit, but I don't believe in your bullshit. If I WANTED to believe in your bullshit, I would. Until then, I COULD GIVE A FUCK whether you believe it or not, and I don't want your fender telling me what I should believe. At the NJ office, we've got a few girls who've plastered their cars with all the God/Jesus bullshit. I really can't stand looking at it... the girls are way too nice to confront, though. The best is when my boss (a 100% atheist) and I (agnostic) gang up on them. They love to backpedal, I tell ya.... when my boss quotes Bible verses and shows examples of how they contradict other Bible verses.... that's f'n classic. And the God chicks try and try to explain it, but it never works. Ahh well.... outlawing it would really decrease the number of stupid people in the world.... Did you ever wonder whose God is the right one? Different religions have different Gods, ya know. How many Gods created the Earth, huh? Had to only be one. So if Judaism-based religions and Eastern religions have COMPLETELY different Gods, one's got to be the ONLY one, right? Which one? Are you willing to risk that you've got the wrong one? Silly idea, huh?  Me droogies: Two positions currently available. | ||||
