As for the title, yes, you worded it wrong. It should say FU to tim mcveigh being mentioned or something to that effect. This thread is somewhat misleading. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Brokenjaw, you just have to face reality. When someone kills that many people, he is going to be famous. People are going to make jokes about him. Shall we forget about Hitler? He killed a lot more people than McVeigh. Where do you draw the line on who to remember and who to forget? Nobody is gonna forget what McVeigh did and he will be mentioned in passing, as a joke, whatever, for the rest of our lifetime. We remember villians as much as heroes in our society. So why not make jokes? I doubt McVeigh's motive for bombing a government building was that someday he would be a punchline. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01 | OK, I fucked up. I'm one of the first ones to jump in and bust someones chops. But I'm also the first one to apolagize when I've made a mistake. My earlier post in this thread was a joke. Nothing more. After reading it, I realized that without sarcasm tags, it may have looked bad to some people. I posted at the end of it that it was a joke, but it was still wrong. I have started threads before, and posted in many others praising the work of our mods here. They can joke with you like anyone else, but you shouldn't take it too far. I did. And that's what I'm apolagizing for. Sorry Buttmunch. Maynard | ||||
