| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | okay, okay... I feel the need to address the Eagles loss to the Cards last game. That game was under control starting about halfway though the second quarter. Right? Okay. Then the coaching breakdown in my mind. This is where I like the Rams coaching style;Pour it on. Let me explain myself... The Eagle's are up and the defense seems to be under control. Then... Then it happens... They start handing off the ball. They stop blitzing. Started to write the Cards off and look towards the Giant game. The players went out for a "sandwich" late in the third and all of the fourth. Then comes the 3and1, stuffed. What to do? Field goal? Another attempt? We all know what happened. I think that with the qb ability and te and fb a 4 and 1 on the 20ish is equal to a field goal in that situation. They should have gone for the first down and then kneeled down. Game over. If it didn't work... same result as what happened. A probable loss. I think Mike Martz and the Rams would have went for it on 4th and 1. Whatever, it's in the past. Point is. Do not expect the Eagles to use such a half hearted approach to the Giant game. Expect constant blitzes and lots of passes. Forget that we lost to the cards. And know we'll beat the Giants! | ||||

Just thinking about how those freak of nature Giants fans that were sitting in the stands are going home with tears streaming down their faces makes me happier than I could ever, EVER describe. Seriously though, I would like to thank the Eagles player of the game......Kerry Collins. He really came through in the clutch. But don't fret, Giants fans! | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | well, the Giants let the eagles hang around all game and got what was coming to them. 1 fucking 40 yard drive should not determine the outcome of a game like this. the Giants were uncreative and the Eagles D stepped up in the second half. For the second week in a row, the Giants took 3 off the board at the end of the 1st half. Collins bumbling that snap fucked the Gaints good. I know a win is win and a loss is a loss, but I STILL think the Giants are the better team. The Eagles fans have been decent to me this morning and last night, but its early, and to cut it off before it happens, the Giants did not challenge the last td, the refs did because there were less than 2 minutes to play. I've already heard a couple of sports radio HOST bitch that Fossil was a "loser" for challanging that last score. 12/30 will be a day a revenge!!! Hey, ill give the Eagles credit, they had the ultimate bend but dont break defense working last night. They also had Kerry Collins being a jackass, like he's been all year, even in our wins. I was stupified after the game because this is the 2nd fucking game in a row where we outplayed the other team and lost by 1 fucking point. And please, someone show Peterson how to cover someone. Congrats Eagles, savor it because we beat your ass and you got away with one. By the way the Giants-Redskins game at 4:05 is on FOX not ESPN.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | I have to make concessions... voodoo, the Eagles played ... well, kinda crappy ... but the Giants outcrapped them in nearly every category. I think Collins isn't the problem- Toomer is. Amani is supposed to be the number-one receiver on the team and, week after week, he can't get open. He goofs his routes and drops the ball. He looks like Keyshawn did in the Meadowlands- short-arming the ball, dropping TD's and unable to concentrate and keep his feet in bounds. Hilliard is beginnin to hit stride, but he is a shrimp. Juruvicious (sp.) needs to hold onto the ball more. All in all, the Giants should never have settled for field goals in their first three drives. They should have been able to move the ball in the second half and all of the offensive players deserve to be pummelled by the defense, which is one of the best in the league. Props to McNabb, nailing a great pass to Thrash to win the game and scrambling on fourth down to seal the deal. Other than that, the game was pretty listless. Then again, I was switching back and forth to the Yankees, who outscored the Giants and the Eagles. Corn- the tracer-bullets of the digestive system | ||||
