I love the Met-Yankee rivalry I hope it lasts for a long time. The bottom line is NYC is the best baseball city in the country period. Who else can say that? Yankee Fans have to recognize that the Mets are a good organization, and they shouldn't be treated like a 2nd rate team - because they're not. The Mets have proved time and time again that they're a dangerous team. Don't talk shit about Kiner, the man's a baseball legend! Even even though he's old and jacked up now, he's still a better baseball comentator than Rizzuto. That blind bastard! I think its wrong the way the Pirates failed to honor Kiner in their new Stadium. I think they're just pissed because he's been affiliated with the Mets for so long. Let's go Mets! | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Good god that was painful. Got ther two (TWO !) hours before the game and they did not have B.P. even though it was not raining. It starts raining about 15 minutes before the game and does not stop ( We got drenched, was in the front row of Loge reserved). We get one hit in the second, and not a baserunner after that. Maddux, the big pussy, takes himself out after just 75 pitches, so the hillbilly comes running in from the bullpen to a chores of "ASS-HOLE" (the only highlight of the night). When is Alfonso, Hamilton, and Zeile going to get there averages out of the one-hundreds? I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker! | ||||
