| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | ok guys heres the deal. the second game is over and the better team won again. its plain and simple. the yanks are just better. its gonna kill the mets this year to be swept by the yanks. and there doing it in shea. which by the way is a poor stadium compared to yankee stadium. i have played on both fields and shea doesn't compare to yankee stadium. don't get me wrong its a nice field, but yankee stadium, its just unreal. and as for the inside of the stadium lookin like a prison. no way pal. i took bp in both indoor batting cages. its beautiful in both. yes the yankee tradition helps the stadium, its true. but what great tradition it is. and whether your a met or yankee fan you have to agree on that. IF ASSHOLES COULD FLY THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN AIRPORT. THANX TO JOLENE FOR THE SIG PIC AND THANX TO BaLLooN Not FOR ALL YOUR HELP. | ||||

Why the fuck did Torre not walk Piazza to get to the p/h Harris who was due up next because of the double switch in the 5th. Hello, they are not in first place in there division, and the Red Sox are going to get some pretty good players off the D.L. soon. As for it being our "World Series", well yeah, we have sucked this year. But it was real nice exposing your weakness last night (nice bullpen deek)! Come August and September, they wilt like dying flowers. By the way, did I say the Mets suck. They pulled one out of their ass last night and it was a fluke. And you should talk about bullpen's. Trust me, I will take Stanton and Rivera over Franco and Benitez any day of the week.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Finally, the Mets beat the Yanks. Last night finally brought out the pride and guts that the Mets have. I just knew that Piazza would hit that homer, if you look in the past to when the Mets come back and have a huge inning, Piazza usually is the one that caps it off with a homer. I do have to say that Shinjo is the man. He would sacrifice himself just to win a game like that, and Piazza came through for him. Yea i be taking that zoloff, but thaz jus keepin me from killin y'all. I have come here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum. :) | ||||

The real problem is Almanzar giving Piazza a pitch he can crush. You pitch to Piazza in that situation, but theres no way you give him anything he can crush. | ||||

We can't score a run the whole game and then against the best closer in baseball we score three runs on a two out rally in the 10th. Great game but I wish Appier could have gotten the win. He pitched incredibly. If the Mets win tommorow night, that is a split of the season series. So since God is the biggest Yankee fan there is, decides to give Rick Reed a nice little neck injury and take him out of tonight's game and the All Star Game, so now we are stuck with Glendon Rusch on 3 days rest. How nice. She is Francine. I am the Banger. Get it???? I didnt think so.  | ||||
