| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00 | awwwwwwww hell yeah, Stewart takes his first of the season. He had the strongest car, by far, today and just seemed to find the right line to run all day long. He wasn't out of the top 10 for just a couple of laps during the usual green flag pit stops and just rode past everyone to victory. Plus he's back to #5 in the overall standings, after starting the year dead last. All in all a very good race at a very fast track. This is what nascar racing is all about, not all that restrictor plate bullshit. Some more observations: Nice to see Jr. step it up and finish 2nd after having a horrible season so far. Maybe he can turn things around. The rookies look damn strong this year. They are always hovering around the top 10 and look good doing it. and even though I'm not a fan of him, it seems Gordon has done wonders for Johnson during his rookie year. It must be great to have Gordon as your teammate and have him be able to teach you what to do and not to do on a race track. That kid is going to be a star, watch him. Gordon is having a tough year so far. You just expect him to be up towards the top at the end of the race, but this year it isn't happenening as of yet. Very strange. Bobby Labonte AGAIN plagued by engine troubles. JGR has to be concerned now after this has happened for the 2nd time in just 4 races this season. Shawna Robinson finally finished a race, and thats all I have to say about that.  Sometimes we can choose the path we follow. Sometimes our choices are made for us. And sometimes we have no choice at all. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 00 | Brooke Gordon Files for Divorce By: Ben Blake Darlington, S.C., March 16 Brooke Gordon, wife of four-time Winston Cup champion Jeff Gordon, has filed for divorce in Florida after seven-plus years of marriage, according to published reports. The couple's official residence is in West Palm Beach. News of the filing marks the end of what had been seen as a picture-book romance, a centerpiece of NASCAR's "clean and wholesome" propaganda. Gordon and his representatives had no comment on the matter, and few details were available. Mrs. Gordon contends in her filing that the marriage is "irretrievably broken as a result of the husband's marital misconduct," the Palm Beach Post reports. The Post report notes that Gordon "is temporarily living with a business associate in North Carolina," although it is not known how long he and Mrs. Gordon have been separated. Gordon has seemed distracted and subdued at times this season, although many had marked that up to the added burdens of co-ownership (with Rick Hendrick) of the new No. 48 Lowe's team, with rookie driver Jimmie Johnson. Gordon had given no direct public hint of personal difficulty. According to the Post, Mrs. Gordon is asking for exclusive use of the couple's $9m home in Palm Beach and periodic use of their boats and an airplane. The Gordons also are partners in several businesses, which compounds the difficulty of resolution. Mrs. Gordon also is seeking alimony, two of the couple's cars, and that Gordon continue to pay salaries for the household help, which includes housekeepers and a chef, according to the Post report. The divorce petition was filed in circuit court of Palm Beach County. Mrs. Gordon has two law firms representing her. You couldnt touch Gordon when he was out in front & because of that Stewart also got fucked. Jimmy Spence was wrong blaming Buckshot for the wreck. His car slid up the track and spun, Stewart couldn't do anything to aviod hitting him. Gordon gets another top 10 and led the most laps, finished 9th. | ||||
