i want to sent a Fuck you to those assholes at MTV. All day, everyday, all they play is some stupid show that they have aires at least 1 million times, and don't play videos. Then when they decide to throw music lovers a bone all they play is shitty music and rarely play something good like drowning pool, linkin park, or staind.

try MTV 2 or Much Music, they actually play music, quite the concept

on that note...watch the WWF they play "Bodies" like 3 times a show
Linkin Park, watch the Real World, the show always seems to end with "One Step Closer" playing
Staind, not gonna bitch about Staind, just expected them to play harder rock after the 2nd album (1st album being 'Tormented' a self released album)
I dunno, MTV blows...Stinky does in fact rule

You know, VH-1 is also getting bad nowadays. I see the Backstreet boys and N'Sync at least 10 times a day now on there, as well as numerous rap videos. Goddamn that sucks.

If you dont get MuchMusic, ask for it. They actually play music: not shows about music, not shows featuring some music, not shows concerning music, just music.

It's so weird. :)

On the bright side MTV did decide to air Afroman's BEcause I got High which might be the biggest song in the country ... eliminating all references to pot, only at night and NEVER on TRL since we can't present kids with imagery of marijuana (a word invented by William Hearst). Of course if you think about it BIGH is somewhat an anti-pot song as it tells how pot ruined this guy life. That being said it's still a catchy song.

And yes, MTV does suck. It's lost all sense of hipness or coolosity (if it ever had it). People need to tell MTV that 12 year olds AREN'T FUCKING COOL!! Freddie Prinze Jr. DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE POPULAR!!

It's wrong to show pot but it's ok to prey on weak young children by advertisikng merchandise produced by an 8 year old because it's an upbeat message. Yup MTV doesn't want to cross the line and hurt children.

Well yeah AM, what's your deal? We must show them too conform. We must show them that talent isn't as important as being pretty. We must show them what and who the corporations want to be popular.
