Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70	i been waiting over a year for the new season of the sopranos. I buy a blank tape to record it i make a nice dinner and i get so psyched i rush home. To find that 2 hours before the show my cable has gone out. I call cablevision and they say there has been a temporary interuption of service. I miss the premire of the 3rd season and 10 minutes after the end of the show cable service has been restored now i gotta wait for the fuckin replay. So fuck you cablevision up the ass with a crowbar sideways you cuntfaced motherfuckers. O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00	gonzo cablevision is worse then ups. not only did they screw up the rangers but their cable service sucks too. and how about when they tell you they will be there between 8am and 6pm, thanks for narrowing it down dicks

Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 01	If it's any consulation.... BOTH episodes were "slow" and nobody got whacked. You didn't miss anything good. Cable companies do suck. My next door neighbor, Joe, was roto-tilling his front yard and of course cut the underground cable feed to my house, it was only buried about 5 inches. I of course didn't know this at the time & the Yankees playoff game was on that afternoon so I called cable repair & was waiting for the guy. I saw Joe outside & asked him if his cable was out also.. this is when he checked where he was working & saw he cut the cable. He did a nice patch job even though I told him I'd wait for the cable guy. The cable guy shows up, undoes the more than adequate patch.. keep in mind me, my neighbor & the cable guy are all standing in my neighbors yard by the box where the cable was cut.. he had the full story. He puts official "cablevision" amphenthal on wire & says okay go inside & check your picture. It's good, he walks from Joe's, around the shrubs that sepearte the two yards and asks me if the office quoted me the repair charges when I called in the trouble????? I said NO and he says okay, then we wont bill you. The m-fer knew Joe next door cut my cable in the yard next door & this moron comes to my door talking about charges. A more violent person would've hit the sob.. I just said thanx. what an asshole.. me & him would have had a long conversation if he said he was billing me. What a TOOL!!!!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	It even sucks with satelite. I try to install this goddamn satelite dish and I dont have a clear line of sight. So the guy comes over to help with the dish and he tells us after half an hour that he cant do it. Then he has the nerve to charge 80 bucks. Not only did we install the dish which he said would have to be on top of the roof but we get no outages because the line of sight is so clear in our frontyard where we put it on a pole.
