While if they DID do so, I know it isn't my fault.. i can't help but sit here and think "If I hadn't have helped them out they wouldn't have the opportunity to do this thing now".. | Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 01 | Magus, you're right. Guilt sucks, and probably nothing anyone says here is going to stop the guilt that you're feeling. What you need to remember and keep in the forefront of your mind is that we are each responsible for our own individual actions. You helped a friend and I'm sure had nothing but good intentions in doing so. Whatever this opportunity was that arose for your friend, the decision about how to act on it was his/hers and his/hers alone. I'm sure you wish you could, but you can't make the decision for this person. Your friend has/had to make the decision and your friend is going to have to deal with the consequences of that decision. My advice to you is just hope for the best. That's probably all you can do at this point. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (and as a result, please excuse any typos in further posts I may make!:)) Good luck!  The sky was yellow and the sun was blue. | ||||
