| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Ok, now I know i have been going to you since I was like 3, but I will be 20 in less than a week and you still to this day do what you want with my hair! What is the purpose in even asking me "What are we having done today?" If you are just going to do whatever the hell you want. Granted for the most part when you do do what you want it comes out ok, but this time I am annoyed. I freakin start school today, in a brand new school and my hair is so short(just grazing my shoulders) :-( and this is after the fact that i tell you, just trim the ends because I want to grow my hair long!!!! Ugh FU Gloria, I'm not a kid anymore so don't treat me like one, or if you are going to keep treating me like a kid at least continue to give me a lollipop like you used to damnit! i gotta go play with my hair now to see if i can fix it...grrrrr CIT (Cuties in Training): two, TWO spots open, email me!! :-) Ass4WOW - Certified Cutie as of 8/29/01 | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | you think that's bad? one time when I was younger, I requested the same... trim the ends because I want to grow my hair long!!! I was in my rock star phase, and had pretty long hair for a guy at the time.. was down to my shoulders. After giving those specific instructions, I heard one swift snip... and looked up to see what had happened, and noticed that all the hair that generously covered my eyes was gone. That day, I walked out of the place with my very own mullet. It was beautiful, and would have made white trash proud. Her version of long hair on a guy was short on top, long in back. I was stupefied, and refused to get my haircut for nearly two years after that. Barbers do the same fuckin' thing. No matter what I ask for, they always give me the same guido feathered 80's do..to the point that the first thing I do when I get out of the chair is put on a goddamn hat.... same shape, same style... it pisses me off. What's the point of getting a haircut, if you know it's gonna look like shit, and the only way it's gonna look good is when it grows out. and by that time it's almost time for another goddamn harircut. Son of a bitch! FU hair professionals!!

I stopped going to women hairdressers a long time ago, I think sometimes they do shit like that on purpose :( But it will grow back fast and a lot of the time cutting it short will help it grow back longer and faster. So just try to enjoy the change for now. You have a very pretty face so I doubt the hair being shorter even matters! And Maynard, as for your question, there are 2 reasons why i keep my hair long. One: When I was just started first grade my mother took me to get a haircut and the women chopped it so short that I looked like a boy, the whole first month of school I had to wear dresses every day so people would know I was a girl :( And second my grandmother used to always tell my cousins and I she'd kill us if we ever cut our hair short, so none of us ever did  thanks for the find wpp :) I'm going crazy, a little every day, and everything I wanted is now driving me away, I woke this morning to the sound of beating hearts, mine is full of questions and it's tearing yours apart... | ||||

Give it a while..it will grow back and you'll be just fine. The time to worry is when it doesn't start growing back and you are reduced to wearing one of those really silly looking "natural looking" wigs they show on the doors of the beauty salon. It ain't easy being greasy in a world full of cleanliness and you know, all that other madness. | ||||
