| Psychopath Registered: May. 01  | Okay, here goes... FU to my long distance carrier! I get the bill this month and find a $90 charge for 1, (yes 1) phone call. What happened was the call wouldn't go through when I dialed directly, so I called the operator so they could "CHECK THE LINE" only. The operator said that the line was fine. She connected me without my okay AND without telling me a higher rate would apply. Had she told me a higher rate would apply, then I would NOT have agreed. Now my plan is 5 cents for night calls and 10 cents for day calls. This call was 90 minutes long, so the maximum charge should have only been $9. Now I get this bill and call "customer service" (as if there is such a thing). They tell me that since it was billed as an "operator assisted call" they could not credit my account. So their solution was to give me 90 minutes worth of credit at my CURRENT RATE. (maximum value: $9) So I say FU! It's not that you couldn't credit my account, it's more like you wouldn't do it. You get paid for a SERVICE, and you act like you are doing ME a favor! FUCK YOU!
