| Why the fuck did they cut away from the game right after the Yankees won and Joe Torre was walking Giuliani to the mound.
Like no Yankee fans wanted to see the celebration on the field after an emotional hard fought series.
Of course promoting that 70's show for the 100th time is much more important.

| Well at least they didnt interrupt Fox Family programming to bring you the same game that is on Fox like they did on Sunday.
Fox has been horrible and dont know what the hell are they doing.
Why did they move Buck and McCarver away from the Yankees-A's series when that was by far the premiere series of the First Round?
Why is the Braves-Diamondbacks game an Afternoon game today with no Night Game?
Does Fox want Ratings or what?
Why is the Yankees-Mariners game an Afternoon game tomorrow and Braves-D-Backs at night.
My theory is Fox dont care about Ratings, I guess.
Thats like putting a Heavyweight Title Fight on the Undercard, and then putting two no name Lightweights as the Main Event.

| FB, Fox cut away on fox family to show the end of the yankee game because around the country, on the regular fox station they left the yanks to show game 5 of the d-backs/cards series. Had they not done that, anyone watching the game outside of NY or the bay area would have missed the end of it.
And I'm still here waiting there, to catch you if you fall
I don't know why I care so much, when I shouldn't care at all

I wouldnt say it was the best series BY FAR. In the first 2 games of the series, the majority of the people would tell you that it was the 2nd best. Id say that overall, the Cardinals - Diamondbacks series was a very close second. Whenever you have 2 22-game winners head to head on game 1 and game 5 of a best of 5 series, that tells you that it is good. Id even say that game 5 of that series was better than game 5 of the yankees series.
Still, Steve Lyons SUCKS! He does not deserve to do these games, and neither do most of these guys. Im pissed to say this, but i want Bob Costas and Joe Morgan doing these games if thats the best Fox can do.

| I really don't mind the Afternoon games. How many times have we killed the TV Stations and the Leagues, not just baseball, on the ridiculous starting times of sporting events. 4 pm isn't that bad. You can watch the games and not have to worry about the game going into the next morning. It gives the younger generation something to talk about the next day.
It would be better if it was a afternoon game on a Saturday, but what can you do.

| We all know how bad these announcers are. Thats a given. But the coverage has just been god awful.
How do you cut away from the yankees celebrating, to show a clip of this stupid show that no one will watch with keifer sutherland
Then, you don't even show the first pitches thrown out by Yogi and the Scooter, and then we missed one of the greatest things ever, the scooter doing a reinactment of Jeter in Game 3. Why? Because we had to see a preview of That 70's show......FU FOX

| Fox is now promoting NL series by calling Chipper Jones "One of the Greatest 3rd Basemen".
How big is this list?
What about Mike Schmidt? Brooks Robinson? Eddie Mathews?
Chipper is such a good third baseman Bobby Cox was playing him in left field this season.
I like McCarver & Buck; Lyons is ok on updates / pieces, not calling games.

| chipper is far from being one of the best 3rd baseman of all time. Cal Ripken was a better 3rd baseman and he played there only 3 seasons.
Lyons is a behind the desk, highlights guy, or on the field reporter. He has no business being in the booth. And that other Brenningham or something like that, has got to be the most un-energetic guy I've ever heard.

you can keep Morgan. He sucks. All he does is state the obvious. Do you really need to explain to me that the pitch was a strike because it crossed the plate? No, seeing how I'm shown 4000 replays of the pitch so I can see for myself that it crossed the plate.
I hope he tells us to burn our pants...these things are driving me nuts! Hold on there maestro, there's a "New" Mexico? |
