Just bring it. I know a lot of motherfuckers don't like what I have to say, and that's fine. But have the balls to admit on your own. Don't hide behind your powers (IRL, imagined, or on the board), be a fucking man about it and say it to my face. Stand up for what you believe in and come with a decent argument for it. I might listen, you'd be surprised.

When I was in lurker\newbie mode I saw many sympathy threads that had many responses, ie my boyfriend broke up with me, my aunt has HIV. I could care less and the replies were all the same. "so sorry to hear, give me a call...blah blah blah" BUT I don't see anything wrong with a birth announcement. Good news is always nice to share. Never exchanged a word with Raven so I didn't post in that thread, but I was not annoyed by it's existence. It doesn't always have to be about you.
