| Hi. Your show on Friday inspired me to finally write this long deserved FU letter. The NYC DOT pothole guys should be sued for constantly impeading traffic filling non existant potholes. There is not a day of the week that these scumbags are not out blocking 2 of the 3 lanes of any major highway, slowly walking behind a caravan of 3 trucks filling little 1'' cracks with a patch of hot asphalt that is 1½ feet in diameter. Even worse than the size of the patch is the height of the patch, which is fully 3'' ABOVE the road level. This results in a bigger bump than was there before these scummers arrived in the first place. And the overtime these guys get, forget about it. They work their normal 5 days a week constantly filling holes, and then on Sat and Sun they are out there as well. This winter has been very mild with little snow, consequently there have been no potholes to fill, yet these guys are unyielding! Where is this money coming from anyhow? NYC is in dire financial state after the 9/11 trajedy, yet there has been no decrease in the DOT presence where it aplies to potholes. The DOT cares only about potholes mind you--they do not replace missing road sign with such diligence nor do they fix broken streetlights, paint lines or even repair guardrails with such fervor. Its time that we as New Yorkers did something about this horrible waste of our tax dollars. I would like to see this money spent on more police, and safer streets. Were any of you on the Cross Bronx this week? Most of the highway has been rebuilt and or repaved, yet the DOT was blocking 2 of the 3 lanes of I-95 while they filled non existant potholes. The same was true of the FDR drive and the BQE. If anyone does not believe me, email me for pictures of these whores in action. Yes, I got out of my car and photographed these unnecessary workers several times. I have some pics of them on the Cross Bronx blocking 2 of the 3 lanes laying down an unnecessary patch. I applaud Opie and Anthony for bringing up this subject on Friday's show. Way to go guys. I hope that some other frustrated drivers like us will write and make their feelings heard. Peace

| If they don't fix the cracks when they are small they will get bigger and cause damage to cars driving over them.
As for blocking the lanes, if people would just use their heads and not wait until the last minute to change lanes there would be alot less of a holdup getting through construction areas.

Mr. Flair is unhappy about the way the DOT repairs the roadways in NYC.
