If the father doesn't have a legal job, then you don't get any fucking money. However, the system does nothing to try to make the fucker work!!!!! I don't need his money--it's just the principal. I do agree that men should take responsibility for their actions but I ask you this – Did anyone take into consideration whether or not a man wants the child? No, that choice is always left to the mothers and they expect the man to pay for it. But if it was reversed – Would a woman carry a child she did not want solely because the man wanted to raise it and then paid him child support for the next 18 years for it? I highly doubt it. You aren’t going to get me to change my opinion on this. It hits too close to home and I am jaded by it all. If you didn't want opinions then you shouldn't have posted it on a message board. Even if we didn't, don't stick it in unless you're willing to face the consequences. He was her dad for 4 years, I'm only pissed now because he deserted her and lied to her face. He is under a court order and doesn't follow it (part of it he does). He moved from NY state so he wouldn't be responsible for child care (since I work full-time and own my own house), the judge decided that his worthless ass would at least babysit our child since I supply EVERYTHING else. It's the PRINCIPAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||
