| If I hear one more person complain that the Oscars were targeting black actors, I'm gonna flip out (oh, wait, I already have)!
Let's see, 3 black people won, over 20 white people won, DO THE MATH!!! There was hardly any tokenism there!!
I loved Training Day, and I think Denzel Washington won that Oscar solely on his TALENT, not the color of his skin. Denzel finally gets the award he's deserved many times over and people keep making allegations.
And as for Sidney Portier, he's arguably achieved more in his career than Robert Redford has, so if people are going to question Sidney's award, why aren't they questioning Redford's as well?!?
Another example of people trying to prove how "liberal" they are by creating controversy over nothing. Denzel, Halle, and Sidney EARNED their Oscars, it had nothing to do with race!

| I knew Denzel and halle Berry would win as soon as I saw the biggest racist of them all, Al Sharpton in the opening movie.
Training Day. Denzel Washington was good, but the movie was at best average. He has been in much better movies than this. He should have won for many other of his movies before this one won. He did not make a big deal of it. I am happy he won because he got ripped off many times.
Halle Berry. Did not see the movie, but who is the bitch kidding. She is whiter than most irish people. She is incredibly hot but at best an average actress. WHo the fuck is she kidding saying in her speech, that she should get to talk because a black actress has not won in 74 years. All she did was thank her lawyer and her agents. What does that have to do with black actresses not winning.
Sidney Poitier deserved an achievement award and it was good how he thanked many white people who helped him in his career.
BTW, Tom Cruise is a douchebag. That speech about how much movies mean was horseshit. Whoopi Goldberg worse host ever for the OScars. A chimp could have done a better job than this monkey.
