Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01
| My fist FU in awhile. I ordered digital cable last week from Time Warner and of course the only time they can install it is Monday through Friday 12 to 4. So I gotta take off work. Not a big deal. So the guy shows up to my house and says he's only installing 2 boxes because thats all they were told to install and I'd have to call back and schedual another week from now appointment to get the third box and cable modem that I SPECIFICALLY told them over the phone the fisrt time. After pleading, the guy did me a favor and installed everything that I origionally asked for. After he leaves, of course, one of the boxes stops working. So I call them and the first time they can come fix it is Monday between 8 and 12. So I gotta take another day off work and and go the whole weekend without TV in my bedroom. Not a huge problem, but annoying. So at 7:55 this morning, Time Warner calls me to confirm that they are coming this morning and of course I confirm. In a shocker, they don't show up. I call back and the customer service guy says: "Well, in their report, they wrote that they called you at 10:45, (phone rang once) and when nobody picked up (again, one ring) they assumed nobody was home and skipped your house. The next time they can come is this Friday." ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!!? After a curse-filled tirade explaining that that was the laziest most foolish thing I've ever heard, the nice guy Chris I spoke to on the phone gave me a free month of HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime. So while I am happy to get a month of free premiums, that was some really shotty service. So with the exception of Chris at Customer Service, FUCK YOU TIME WARNER.
