| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I owed $6000 last year. This year is gonna be worse. Do you know why we pay so much in taxes? My friend just got a job with the goverment, first year 13 vac. days, 13 sick days and 8 personal days in the first year. Year two 26 vac. days, same sick and personal. That adds up to 47 fucking days. That's two, TWO months of time off. You have got to be fucking kidding me. The last time I worked for a company I had 15 vac. days and 7 sick days after 5 years. If they didn't spend so much on military they could give all people healthcare. And dont say the US needs it. The last time that the US went into a war without a whole bunch of friends{i.e Britian, France, Italy, and other NATO countries} was a long time ago. They learned their lesson. | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | A HUGE FU TO THE IRS they caught up to me several years ago for not filing in 1991& 1992 because I changed my withholding status to 6 then realized I didn't have the cash or 5 kids. I had to repay $12,000 in nice little monthly payments, they tried to garnish my pay so I would take home no more than 125.00 a week until the debt was paid. I do agree that there is too much wasteful spending by the pentagon. But yet my national guard cop unit only has a $29,000 a year budget. That's a joke. -My boss is an f'n tool- | ||||
