| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | well i got my first speeding ticket today. clocked at 71 in a 50. this really fucking sucks because not only am i gonna have to pay for college soon, but now i gotta pay for the raise in insurance. | Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 01 | WS, plead not guilty to the ticket. Go to traffic court and try to get it knocked down to a non-moving violation. You'll pay the court costs in addition to the violation fine, but that will be a lot less than what your insurance company will charge you. I've done it three times. Worked like a charm. Hell, if the cop doesn't show up at trial the ticket will be dismissed. (That happened for one of my tickets) Good luck! | ||||
