O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00	12 out of 100????? shit you better hope for a splitter not a curve:) Life is like a box of chocoloates, a cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift no one ever asks for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this mostly undefinable whipped mint crap, mindlessly wolfed down when there's nothing else to eat during the game. Sure, once in a while you get a peanut butter cup or an English toffee, but it's gone too soon and the taste is fleeting. In the end you're left with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts, which if you are desperate enough to eat, leaves nothing but useless brown paper wrappers.

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	I think I might be the only person alive who likes math and finds calculus fun and easy. I don't know why, maybe its that I find it very satisfying solving problems correctly. Or maybe I'm one of the few psychos that like math.

Psychopath Registered: Aug. 00	The major thing I found out in college, Gang Green, is that high school math is harder in college than it is in the former. The only high school award I received was for the highest Pre-Calculus average of the senior class, but once I tried Calculus in college (which was totally pointless, seeing I was a history major through and through), all I have so say is, as Opie does, "Ooooohhhhkaaayyyyy." However, that may just be a lack of high school training. Who knows. I'm more of a fan of statistics and charts than anything, but I don't know what signifiant correlation that has to calculus. "You think about that now."- some guy from a Twilight Zone episode

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	Um, well, er. If someone hadn't invented calculus, you wouldn't be talkin on this darn contraption. Sorry, just a little perspective. I didn't take it. Navy gave me just enough to operate a reactor. Didn't shove the whole course down my throat. I didn't like calculus either. Inquiring minds want to know!

I just took this class last semester and showed up to about 10 classes cause it was so pointless. Statistics was just too many formulas to figure out, I just couldn't handle it.

I wouldn't wish Laplace Transformations on my worst enemy, trust me, they are fun on a bun You really start to get scared when you use calculus outside of calculus class. I never thought it was possible that I'd have to apply that crap anywhere else...oops
