(or so I've heard) Second of all, white kids keeping it "gully" are usually going through a phase: trying to be different (suburbs) or trying to fit in (inner cities). They are usually enamored with hip-hop and feel like they have to act the part. C'mon I'm sure some of you were wearing ratty clothes and not washing your hair in the early 90s, right? It's harmless unless you take it to the extreme, (i.e. shooting guns or shooting heroin) or don't grow out of it so that you can't really hold down a real job. For any race, keeping it gansta (all the time and not being able to "turn it off") narrows down your options to either minimum wage, crime or hip-hop. - Archangel Gabriel from The Prophecy | ||||
