Since you have to live with yourself, I suspect the latter will bite you in the ass in the end, as you repeat those aspects that we saw plainly here on this board. This board where your criticism, inaccurate and muddled as it is, will fall like a pebble into a river. Maybe one day you'll see it from another side, another vantage point and have a better read on it than you have now. Is there truly a problem with the board, or is there a problem with you? It was conciliatory at first, when there weren't many members using it and posts could go for days until a response was made. Then, with the popularity of the board, came the floodgates of people and the hostility many of us have experienced. Then, as the new year dawned, the beginnings of a policy of being gentler to the new users became tacitly, if not expressly, known. Posts like Cluster's were more accepted and not bashed upon constantly like they used to be. However, some of the users from the bashing period still held dear to them the power they had of expressing their feelings, no matter rude they might be. As the board became more user friendly, those types of people saw that 'freedom' disappear, and still wanted to express it now and then. However, no matter what you would like to say about freedom of expression and this board being an open forum, when you sign up, you agree to the user agreement. That means that your statements can be censored if deemed inappropriate. Kid Afrika, I really didn't know you, but oh well. Sorry to see you go the way of other long time users, but you have to do what you have to do. But even more so are the points of the mods The board has changed (and most will say for the better) But there is nothing anyone can do about it. (outside of the group that runs it) Just enjoy it for what it is and respect the "rules" that are set up as the board grows and matures. Fuck it! Why fight it? Where will it get you?
