| For the past week, I've been wihtout a dial tone and unable to call family and friends and get online...let alone have people call me to tell me a grandparent or an elderly aunt or uncle had died. Thank God nothing like that did happen in the week Ameritech fucked me...but fuck them for telling me there was nothing was wrong with the line and then saying they'd send someone out and never doing it. Anyone know if the rumor I heard about a class action law suit against them for lack of service is true? I'm sure I'd stand to get a little something in the settlement if it is....because, get this, when they were hooking up someone else's phone...they crossed wires in the box and that's what fucked me over for a week. They'll probably try to charge me the $71 service call fee now too. So FU Ameritech. (But a special thanks to Jenelle, the rep there who finally got her shit together and got the situation resolved for me!)
