| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01  | It may seem a bit early to begin planning for this, but I've set a tentative date for the Xmas party as Saturday December 15th. I figure we need to get a place reserved soon, before they get booked up for all the company's and other groups who will have holiday parties. I already spoke to Bro. Joe and had him keep the date open, so we've got him booked. I will speak to other guests, but right now my main concern is a venue. We want a place in Northern Jersey, Manhattan, or just over the border in Rockland Co., someplace fairly central and easily accessible. We also want a place where we won't get kicked out at 2 a.m. like last time. If you have venue ideas, let me know. Also, i was wondering if anyone has give thought to holding the party in a hall (IE: Elks or Moose Lodge...or even a smaller hotel ballroom) this way we don't have to worry so much about closing time...plus most will supply a bartender... just a thought... | ||||
