| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00  | Ok guys, one thing I have been a touch confused about is the area of status changing.
I've already had 5 different people ask me for status changes (which I really don't mind) but I've turned them all down since I am unsure if I'm treading on other's territory. I'd love everyone's input on this since I know you all have different stances on these types of things.  Ooo- One more thing: Is it always ok to edit someone’s post in order to fix a broken picture they're posting (assuming its appropriate to the situation)? I'm still saved.... I am starting my very own group to combat the evil of this board. IM me at fezoanda if you are interested. The only requirement is that you be me. I get asked all the time to change status for people.. my basic rule is, I tell the person requesting a change to contact the Mod that gave them the status... Speaking of which, Maynard has recently asked my to change his & I suggested he contact the people who did it (which i found out was a combo-Mod status)... in cases where people don't know which mod changed their status, i ask around to the other Mods myself (depending on who's asking)... or I'll just add to what's there... quote:I've done this on occasion...like if someone is trying to post a WOW pic or something, i'll edit it to show the pic... I also will edit (or contact the person who did it to do so) if people post a pic or too much text without a break (return) that ends up throwong off the page size (you know...when you have to scroll the fucking page to read posts...I hate that shit)  Professional Slacker I should get paid for this crap... | ||||
