this FTL, is he supposed to be important? 'cause I've never heard of him, and probably never will. What, is everyone a mod now????

I can help you answer those questions.

No he is not important.

No, you wouldn't hear of him because you have this little thing called Life that seems to be obsolete for so many memebers here.

And Yes, anyone that doesn't mind walking away with a little mule juice in their mouths and some shit on their chin can be a mod these days.

Flock, I know you and she get along, but you are the new guy. I would take it personally.

You all know that I hate this bitch. I can’t stand her. In an effort to “keep it off the board”, I did not reply although I was itching to.

So, I just hope that someone has a word with her, because she’s gone back to being the attention whore, bitter bitch she always used to be.

You forgot to say that you quoted a post by brother joe that he was joking about the rating of his thread in GD. He also ended it with a ';)'

I understand, and respect, that many here don't want Kid and PB back for all the shit that they've caused, but what about this snatch?

She has been given many, many chances in her own right, and all she does is try to stir up shit.

Is this the 'lightheartedness' Anthony was talking about?

Will she be given endless talks and chances because she is a [Sarcasm]quality contributor[/Sarcasm] to OTL?

Is the timing of her return to the board merely a coincidence?

***EDIT***

She added a bunch of smilies and added -

quote:

Is this where I brace myself for a degrading and offensive status? Or perhaps, cringe in my seat while awaiting a mod's slam? Or maybe this is the point where I continually refresh the page to see if I am banned?

Umm, no I don't think so. Later.

I think it all started with the Declaration of Independence -- the idea that we had the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That pursuit is what took America from the revolution to the computer age in 200 years. But the progress has come at a price. The obvious being the people that were exploited to make it possible; the not so obvious being us, the first group of people that were given no obvious frontiers to conquer. We hear stories that about the good old days that don't seem to apply anymore. It's a generation gap that leaves us without role models. But the bright side is that without role models, there are no roles. Maybe that's what the 60s were all about -- getting rid of the roles. But what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, the choices become overwhelming. Sometimes it just makes everything feel hopeless. So we destroy our bodies in the search of an ideal. Try to salvage relationships that don't work. We feel we must do something, instead of doing something that we feel. It is the prison of self-imposed momentum, and the sad part is that we get used to it. It reminds me of a song I heard the other day. It's called "The Going Nowhere Fast." But the people I have met here have shown me another side of Nowhere. They've pointed out the beautiful irony that stagnation makes it easy to stop and smell the roses, if we just let it. What would we be if we had nothing to rebel against? Well we could finally be ourselves, the first group of people who stopped looking for the answers long enough to appreciate the questions. And all we have to do is to make our own Declaration of Independence. We can embrace the right to life and liberty by simply realizing that happiness exists -- not to pursue, but to accept. After that the only challenge would be to make sure with the rest of our lives that we weren't just another fad. I don't know, it's an idea. What do you think?

Sorry about the misquote of Bro Joe.

But, gee Slash, since only you and I were signed on at the time of her edit, do you think she’s trying to send us a not-so-subtle message?

Despite what Matt told me about her wanting to speak to me at Bar 9, she didn’t acknowledge my presence and ignored my g/f until forced into close proximity to her because she was jealous that my g/f was talking to one of “her” friends. Her animosity definitely carries over to the Board.

It doesn’t take a master of teh sarcazm to see that her antics over the last few days have been uber annoying.

I’m going to continue to annoy (Freudian slip) ignore her until she outright comes after me. And she will. She will.

Well, I just thought it was important to note that it was a Bro Joe Thread IN GD, and she used a Bro Joe quote, that he originally ended with ';)', (w/o the ';)' ), to get her dig in to the mods/admins as to how/why they are mods.

That is the same kind of comment Cranky Ass would make. And no, I am not saying that she IS Cranky Ass, I am saying she brings the same kind of shit here.

Also, she is basically throwing out dares that we won't ban her with her edit 'Is this where I brace myself for a degrading and offensive status? Or perhaps, cringe in my seat while awaiting a mod's slam? Or maybe this is the point where I continually refresh the page to see if I am banned?

I don't know the degree of bullshit she was lying about when she was fighting over your personal buisness, but after she lied about her what went down between her and I in chat one night, I don't put anything past her. That was my last interaction with her on the board. actually, she has been rather absent since I told her that I think it is time for her to go tend to her strawberry patch.

Now GS gets demodded/leaves the board and she returns. I think it is pretty clear cut how she operates.

She has no immunity, I don't give a shit. If she acts up, put her ass back in line.

I tend to ignore most of what she says because it's obvious she just wants attention and is trying to get a reaction out of people.

Come on, we all know that she came back EXACTLY when Gonzo was deleted by Anthony with that "karma" quote in her sig. Like her or not, if you have any doubt about the timing of her return, you are fucking naive.

I don't plan on replying to that thread at all. It's turned into a Strawberry mess that I'd rather stay out of, unless she gets banned, then I dance on her grave. -Now that Slash decided to end it, maybe I will reply, not to Straw OR Joe.

Jesus Christ, I miss two days and shit gets out of hand again!

Thank you BM for the heads up and the warning. I do hope if any of you hear anything about my name ever being thrown around, you'll come to me with it.

As a friend, I will give her the benefit of the doubt, but if I do find out she has problems with me, I'll talk to her about it.

By the way, just because I am friends with her, I don't want any of you to think I will run to her with any and all info I hear about her. I've never been that way and I'm not going to start now.

Jesus Christ, can't anything ever go smoothly? :)

Flock, she didn't say your name specifically, nor did she imply YOU.

However, she's undermining "us" again and just being a general pain in the ass.

So, take it as you like, just know that we've had plenty of experience with her attitude and it sucks.

Oh, I know Buttmunch. I'm not going to defend her if she is causing trouble again. Even though I do consider her a friend, I will not in any way play the preferential treatment game.

As far as I am concerned, I was asked to become a mod for the good of the board, not to pamper or protect any of my friends.

Sometimes we can choose the path we follow.
Sometimes our choices are made for us.
And sometimes we have no choice at all.
